About PCI

 

PCI provides the resources needed to align trainees and practitioners with medical educators and industry professionals with healthcare providers for bioskills, staff education, and customer education. Product development is also an area in that PCI’s facilities can be leveraged. 

 

As a member of MassMedic we are committed to providing medical device companies and surgeons the bioskills resources for small, medium, and large-sized training events. We are the first institute of its kind to integrate bioskills training and medical simulation, translating learned skills into realistic scenario-based programs for novices and experts.  

 

Our simulation staff, led by Charles Pozner, MD, FSSH (a world leader in simulation-based education), provides the curriculum, faculty development, and technical resources to enable educators to deliver high-quality curriculum using the most modern tools; and we’ll operate the technology so that educators can concentrate on teaching. PCI provides all facets of simulation-based education: scenario-based, skills-based, and interprofessional education for trainees and practicing clinicians. 

 

PCI ensures an outstanding experience, using state-of-the-art technology and equipment incorporated into 20,000 square feet of finished space. All rooms can stream live videos to any other area within the center and worldwide. Our practical facilities can also be a backdrop for video shoots, still photography, and much more.
